A Kiwi a Day Keeps the Blues Away

The little green fruit known as the kiwi is not only delicious and high in vitamin C and E, but did you know it also contains serotonin?


Serotonin is a chemical in your brain that helps to control mood. It also works with Melatonin to help you go to sleep and wake up.


A study mention at SleepDoctor.com showed that eating a kiwi a day improved sleep quality and sleep quality. Mine you the study only has 24 participants and no control group using a placebo to compare their results again.


Even still, it's interesting to think that something that tastes so good could help improve your sleep, control your mood, and provide loads of vitamin C and E as well.
